Mission Statement: "The Kansas City Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, is an innovative and vibrant sisterhood of women dedicated to musical excellence in performance of four part a cappella harmony, barbershop style.  We enrich the lives of our members and communities through education, creative entertainment, and competition."

As a part of the highly respected Sweet Adelines International worldwide non-profit organization of women singers, we are committed to advancing this great musical art form, and to celebrating our lives along the way. To learn more about the history of our chorus, check out the About Us section. We love to entertain through musical events each year for the community, our friends, and families.

The Kansas City Chorus is part of the Region 5 Sweet Adelines.  Region 5 encompasses most of Missouri, northwest Kansas, eastern Nebraska, most of Illinois, all of Iowa, and the extreme northwest corner of Kentucky.  Each spring, a Regional Competition is held to determine who will compete at the International Competition.
